1069 Students to Sit G6NA This Week

images_exams1069 students on May 29th and 30th will sit the Grade Six National Assessment (G6NA).

The Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development will administer the annual assessment to 546 females and 523 males, representing a decrease of 84 students as compared to 2013.

498 students come from the Western District, 144 from the Eastern District, 247 from the Northern District and 198 from the Southern District.

The examinations are scheduled to begin at 8:00 a.m. at 50 centres around the island.

On day 1, students will write Language Arts and Social Studies, Mathematics and Science will be written on day 2.

The format remains the same as in previous years, featuring multiple choice papers in all subjects and a written component in Language Arts.

Students are expected to be at the centres by 7:45 a.m.

The Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development advises parents that they are not allowed at testing centers while examinations are in progress.
