DAPD Celebrates 30 Years
Member of the Board of Directors of the DAPD, Mr. Vincent Bellot, says the DAPD has always been concerned about the long term sustainability and as such, has employed multiple fund raising strategies, aimed at procuring financial resources.
Secretary of the DAPD, Mrs. Irma Raymond – Joseph recognizes October 29th, as a very special day for the Organization. They will celebrate a milestone with their 30th anniversary and is expected to launch a magazine dubbed, ‘Persevering in Adversity,’ commemorating this milestone.
Executive Director of the DAPD, Mrs. Nathalie Murphy, highlighted the Organization’s preparedness for their talent show with a difference, in collaboration with Ms. Marie-Antoinette Mora’s company – ‘Outside the Box.’
“We’re going to get out of the box on November 30th with a talent show, where we will showcase persons with all types of disabilities, displaying various art forms and expressions”, Mrs. Murphy added.
Tickets for the show cost $20 and will be on sale, following the independence celebrations.
