1.3 Million Dollar Water Supply For Vielle Case

footage (9)Residents of Vielle Case will soon be able to boast of a new water system following work on the new Vielle Case Water Supply project, set to begin in December 2013 at a cost of 1.3 million dollars.

The project will be completed in 5 months and is expected to be commissioned by May 2014.

Prime Minister Honourable Roosevelt Skerrit, Parliamentary Representative for the Vielle Case Constituency and Prime Minister stated at a community meeting held at the Vielle Case Credit Union Hall on Monday, November 25th, that this project compliments the many other investments made in the constituency since he became Parliamentary Representative.

He noted that, the project w abstract water worldill create short term employment for the skilled labourers of the community and urged those who will be employed to work with pride.

Mr. Skerrit encouraged residents to take ownership of the project as it will improve their lives.

The new Vielle Case Water Supply project will see the construction of two 30,000 imperial gallon storage tanks and repairs to an existing tank. Improvements will also be made to the intake and new supply and distribution pipes will be laid.

The Government of Dominica is providing the funding for the project.
