26 youngsters, on Friday August 16th, bid farewell to the 2013 Summer Arts Program, at a certificate ceremony held at the Old Mill Cultural Centre.

The younger children all participated in choir, arts and crafts, creative dance sessions and drama with a touch of creole.

Whereas, children between the ages of 11-16, participated in sessions including: arts and crafts, steel pan, introduction to photography and wood carving.

Workshop Coordinator, Ms. Pearle Christian, informed that wood carving and steel pan are chosen each year, because the Youth Culture is on a mission to encourage the involvement of steel pan playing.
