4-H Festival

4-h.pngStudents of the Penville Primary School  came together to celebrate their 4-H Festival on Friday, June 8th. Members of the club and other various clubs pledged, sang and displayed their creative talents before their members, teachers and parents.

Local Leader Mrs. Shernelle Alexander says this is a two week celebration of the children achievements that the club has accomplished over the years.

Competitions such as: tree-planting” is just one of the methods that are used to discipline the children.

The 4-H Club helps the children to develop skills as well as providing them with the opportunity to showcase their skills and talents which will prepare them for the future.

Youth Officer of the village mentioned that each and every one of the children are special in their own way and it’s up to the adults such as their parents and teachers to encourage the children to practice positive practices.

He says the Youths are our future which means it is vital that they are brought up right.
