A Fond Cole resident fined $ 1200.00 for possession of cannabis with intent to supply.
One resident of Fond Cole has been charged with possession of cannabis and two counts of possession of cannabis with intent to supply to which he pleaded guilty earlier today, Monday August 30th, 2010 at the Roseau Magistrate’s Court. Adil Esprit, 28, was riding a motor cycle on Friday, August 27th, when he was intercepted by a police officer who requested to see his license. At the time, Esprit seemed nervous prompting the officer to conduct a search where he found a black plastic bag containing cannabis. Adil is known to court as he has been previously charged with the same offense nine years ago. He was fined $1200.00 for possession of cannabis with intent to supply. The sum is to be paid by October 31st 2010 or in default 3 months imprisonment.
