Aicons Registers a Come From Behind Win

football2.jpgAicons registered a come from behind win against Pointe Michel last weekend when the 2012/2013 DFA LIME Premiere Division continued.

Playing on Saturday at the Geneva playing field in Grand Bay, Aicons, trailing by two goals to one defeated Sam Martin Pointe Michel by three goals to two.

Earl Joseph found the back of the net twice, while the other goal was scored by Jeffrey Charles.

Bert Casimir and Randolph Peltier with one goal each scored for Pointe Michel.

Also on Saturday, RIC Kensboro and Northern Concrete and Steel Bombers played to a one all draw at the Poree Park in Pointe Michel.

Vincent Joseph scored for the Portsmouth based team, while Joachim Dominique converted for Kensboro.

Over at the Benjamin’s Park in Portsmouth on Sunday, Dublanc FC and Wacky Rollers played to a two all draw.

In the All Island league LA United Layou defeated Campbell Ballerz by four goals to two.

For the winners, Kevin Christmas scored two goals and there was one each for Kimon Stedman and Kerwin Riviere.

Damian Christopher and Marcus John scored one each for Campbell.

When the action continues this Wednesday, two matches are on the cards.

In the Intermediate Division, Lion Hearts will take on Underground Starz from 5pm at the Bath estate playing field, while in the All Island league from 7pm, at the same venue National Lotteries Young Gunners will do battle against Savanne Academy.

On Thursday, In the first of two matches carded for the Bath Estate playing field, Genesis United will take on Jays LTD Young Gunners in the Intermediate Division from 5pm , while in the All Island league Laudat FC will take on Maxroy Classics Fond Cole from 7pm.
