Albert Stevens Jr. go on trial for attempted murder

Two young men can now breathe a sign of relief, as attempted murder charges were dropped against kessler alcendor and kevin richards.

 

The two men were jointly charged with Albert Stevens Jr. And due to face trial at the high court on Monday October 31st.


However stevens jr. Was not so lucky, and will face trial for the offense on October 31, 2011 at the Roseau High Court.


The defendant is accused of attempting to kill Mandela Andrew in goodwill almost three years ago.


He entered a not guilty plea, when his indictment was read to him before justice bernie stephenson-brooks on October 17th.


The incident allegedly occurred on december 26, 2008 in bowers lane.


Alcendor, who was represented by attorney Peter Alleyne was not present at court, while Darius Jones represented Kevin Richards.

 

Stevens Jr. Is now currently on bail.
