Alister Irish in hot water again
“Don’t try to deceive me.”
Those were the words of Magistrate Candia George in court to Alister Irish, after she denied him bail.
Mr. Irish pleaded not guilty to forgery and deception after he attempted to use a counterfeit fifty dollar bill to purchase items at bath estate on July 22nd.
Although Mr Peter Alleyne, who represented Irish presented a solid bail application, Magistrate Candia George was not deterred, since he had already committed two other offences while on a previous bail.
It was also reported that Irish had failed to report to the Roseau police station; a condition that was applied to his two previous bails.
He is to reappear in court on November 21st.
