An 11-year-old to launch ‘Fairy Tales & Story Book Classic’ Costume Band this weekend
Eleven year old Giselle Pierre, a student at the St Martin’s Primary School, who brought you the play ‘once upon a carnival’, will this year, bring you a costume band titled ‘fairy tales and story book classic’.
A pre-show which is scheduled to be held at the Arawak House of Culture on Saturday, January 29th, from 8:00pm, will give patrons an in-depth look of what they can expect on the street this carnival.
Giselle who has been labeled as ‘the little girl with a big creative mind’, says this pre-show is her own way of raising funds to meet the needs of the costume band.
She says at Saturday’s show, patrons will get a closer look at the costumes and will learn about the real meaning of the various creative pieces.
Tickets for the show cost $15.00 for adults and $5.00 for children and can be purchased from Giselle herself, or at Favors.
