Castle Bruce Constituency Small Business Owners Benefit from marketing Workshop

DSC_7079Over fifty small business owners in the Castle Bruce Constituency have benefited from a marketing workshop organized by the Ministry of Employment, Trade, Industry and Diaspora Affairs through the Small Business and Employment Unit in collaboration with the National Employment Programme, NEP.

The workshop, titled “Improving Small Business Understanding of Marketing and Business Management” is aimed at equipping small business owners with the necessary tools to manage their business activities.

Parliamentary Representative for the Castle Bruce Constituency, Honourable Johnson Drigo described the workshop as a continued demonstration of the positive impact of the National Employment Programme.

Drigo stated that his constituency has benefitted tremendously under the NEP and that through the programme his constituents have received support in areas of hairdressing, fishing, livestock farming, and the Roving Caregivers Programme.DSC_7114

The workshop was held in two sessions namely; The Importance and Concept of Business Management and The Marketing Tools.

It is aimed at educating small business owners about the various marketing techniques and tools used in promoting their products and services as well and the concept of business management, thereby enabling a more efficient operation of their businesses.

Similar workshops have been conducted in Grandbay and LaPlaine with more planned for Marigot, Portsmouth and Roseau.
