Closing ceremony of NDFD training
The National Development Foundation of Dominica has officially completed its training programs that ran throughout April in three areas of Business.
Programs in Effective Communication, Sales and Marketing and Business Continuity after a disaster were presented by the NDFD who saw the need for training in these areas.
Mrs. Kathy Robinson-Pond, the facilitator for the Effective Communication program highlighted the need for training in this area not just in business but in society.
The NDFD is known to host training programs throughout the year. The Foundation performs assessments based on their client database and identifies gaps in the business where there is a need for development.
It was as a result of such assessments that these training programs were contrived.
The programs were conducted in sessions of 3 hours over a span of days. They equipped representatives of persons in business both in the private and public sector to develop on the areas selected.
Mr. Knight says that the turn out for the program was satisfactory; however he has only desire for the participation in the next.
Participants were presented with certificates at the closing ceremony.
