David Daniel of Fortune Pleads Guilty to Two Charges
Investigations were carried out on the matter and Constable Charles informed Daniel of the report against him. The phone was eventually found in his possession.
In the second charge, the complainant Daniel Casou, from the United States, a student at the Ross University, realized his Toshiba laptop and a white lab coat were missing among other things.
Daniel filed a report to the police; upon investigation 2 people of interest were questioned and informed the officers that the items were sold to the defendant David Daniel.
Wayne Norde the defendant’s lawyer stated in light of the defendant not wasting the courts time and cooperating with the police, it should be lenient on him for his actions.
Wayne Norde said his client is remorseful for the crimes committed and has learnt his lesson.
Magistrate Bernard Pacquette charged the defendant $ 1000.00 on each count to pay by July 21st or in default 3 months imprisonment.
