DDA Launches New Promotional Video

The Discover Dominica Authority (DDA), announces the launch of a new promotional video to further promote the ‘Bring-a-Friend’ campaign.

The 30 second promotional video titled “Bring A Friend,” is aimed at encouraging more visits to the Island year round, especially during the major festive seasons, namely Carnival and World Creole Music Festival.

It is aimed at encouraging the diaspora community to bring a friend with them whenever they visit the island.

The promotional video highlights the adventure activities and many moments that one can enjoy while they visit Dominica.

It also encourages the diaspora in the Caribbean region, the USA, Canada, UK and other parts of the world to “Bring A Friend” when they travel to Dominica.

Miss Dominica 2013, Leslassa Armour – Shillingford has been a part of the campaign programme, by speaking to her supporters and the wider Dominican public about coming home to celebrate with Dominica during events such as Carnival.

Often enough, persons have commented that the Island is confused with the Dominican Republic, therefore it is an opportune time, to show them how uniquely different the destination is and to also familiarize themselves with a new destination.
