Two Dominican footballers have been presented an opportunity to become part of an internationally recognized football team.

Chad Bertrand and Collin Bernard will compete against other Caribbean footballers for positions on the Antigua Barracuda football club.

Attaining a position on this football team is a big step up for the players says vice president of the Dominica football association Jason Jno- Baptiste.

The Antigua Barracuda football team is made up of the Antigua national football team and 8 other players from the Caribbean.

Collin Bernard, one of the two players to play in the trial matches in Antigua says he is confident that his and his colleagues performances will be successful.

The two players will leave for Antigua on February 9th where they will showcase their talent in trial football matches that will be used for selection of the Antigua Barracuda football team.
