Dominica Grammar School, Records 92 Graduates for 2013
Ninety-two successful graduates of the Dominica Grammar School said their formal goodbyes at a ceremony held at the Arawak House of Culture, on June 24th in their honor.
With the theme “Don’t look back, you are not going that way” the graduants were encouraged by Dr. Donald Peters, President of the Dominica State College to do just that.
He emphasized to the students that though the past is behind them, there will be challenges and disappointments ahead.
Dr.Peters commended the parents for the success of the students, but urged them to continue to encourage, mentor and support their children throughout their endeavours.
Awards were given to Chelsea-Ann Martin, this year’s valedictorian for English Language, Mathematics, Physics and the Form 5-2 award for academics.
