Dominican footballers to benefit from a Club Management and Administration Course
Several footballers are expected to benefit from a Club Management and Administration Course that is currently being held at the Patrick John Football House in Bath Estate.
The course which began on Thursday April 14th, 2011 is expected to culminate on Monday April 18th, 2011.
President of the DFA, Mr. Patrick John says the course is very timely as it comes at a time when they are facing a crisis, in that almost every week, many young players are brought before the disciplinary committee either for fighting or insulting the referees.
President of the Dominica Olympic Committee (DOC) Mr. John Charles commended the DFA for being the first affiliate to prepare and complete a strategic plan; one of the most critical components in the development of any sport.
Sports Coordinator at the Ministry of Sports Mr. Trevor Shillingford says this course demonstrates a significant step taken by the DFA in enhancing the sport of football on the island.
