Donation of Ipads to Beaupierre Primary School

Students of the Jones Beaupierre Primary School on June 27th 2014 received 52 Ipads compliments Brilla Bank Corporation, an international bank and trust, registered and incorporated in the Commonwealth of Dominica.

A thankful Mrs. Martha Stephenson, School Principal said that although many students have been exposed to some form of technology, there are still a lot of them who have not been as privileged and lack the knowledge and skills to use it efficiently.

“In fact the students’ performance on a whole can be improved”, she said.

He also thanked Prime Minister Honourable Roosevelt Skerrit who made them feel comfortable when they first came to Dominica.

He told the gathering that the school has the bank’s support and are happy to help in any way possible.

Former Teacher at the School and Minister for Education and Human Resource Development, Honourable Petter St. Jean says the Ministry recognizes that it must prepare students to be global and urged the principal and staff to maximize use of the equipment and to ensure that they are well taken care of.

The Minister stated that this is just the beginning of the partnership with the Ministry and Brilla Bank.
