Dr. Jeffrey Blaize launches his first book ‘The Eastern C/bean Primary Revision Guide for Maths’


Parents who are concerned about their child’s performance in Mathematics are being encouraged to purchase ‘The Eastern Caribbean Primary Revision Guide for Mathematics,’ an essential learning tool for all primary school students, nearing the completion of the Grade Six Mathematics Syllabus.


The book which was written by the Assistant Chief Education Officer Dr. Jeffrey Blaize was officially launched at the Garraway Hotel on Wednesday April 13th, 2011.


While giving an overview of the book, Principal of the Wotten Waven Primary School Mr. David Maximea says as a primary school principal, he sees this publication serving as a revision guide that is specifically designed to benefit all students, who will be undertaking the Grade Six National Assessment.


Author of the book and Assistant Chief Education Officer, Dr. Jeffrey Blaize says the book was produced out of his desire to increase student’s performance throughout the OECS territories, particularly in the area of mathematics education.


Minister of Education Honourable Petter Saint Jean commended Dr. Jeffrey Blaize on what he dubbed as a timely publication.

The book is accompanied by an interactive CD-ROM filled with additional practice material and interactive activities.


The guide aims to relieve the stress of exams at this level by injecting fun into the revision process and offering support to parents, teachers and students through essential and accessible revision material.


These fun and student-friendly resources are the only full-color revision guides available for the end of primary Eastern Caribbean Mathematics exams.
