DSC says Farewell to President of the Music Missions International Foundation

Mr. Luther Kosowan, President of the Music Missions International Foundation

Faculty and staff at the Dominica State College (DSC), on Thursday May 15th, gathered at the institution to recognize Mr. Luther Kosowan, President of the Music Missions International Foundation.

Kosowan has so far donated office equipment, computers and over three hundred (300) musical instruments, to the State College amounting to U.S $250,000.

In September another shipment to the College will bring the total to U.S $500,000 (E.C $1.3 million) in contributions.

President of DSC, Dr. Donald Peters expressed gratitude for the donations.

Speaking at the ceremony, Honourable Kelver Darroux, Acting Minister for Education revealed that the Kosowans selected Dominica, more so the Dominica State College, out of several Caribbean countries.

Kosowan is also coordinating a two-year certificate programme in instrument repair – the very first Musical Instrument Maintenance Service and Repair Program at the College.
