DYBT Hosts Exposition

Many gathered at the Ministry grounds for the Dominica Youth Business Trust (DYBT) exposition on Thursday, November 15th 2012.

DYBT is the official host of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2012 in Dominica, were GEW will be observed in over fifty countries across the globe from November 12 to 18, 2012.

They are also partnering with various institutions to undertake the activities to observe GEW in Dominica.

Student at the Dominica State College (DSC) Ms. Herma Sabroache demonstrated a booth filled with various high-tech links.

Ms. Sabroache says speaking from a personal stand point; DYBT’S mentoring program is beneficial to the public especially the youth.

Vice president of Soul’s Enterprise, a youth organization based in the North- East district of Dominica, Ms. Valerie Honore had many local food products such as pepper sauce on display.

Ms. Honore also believes that this event is an opportunity for the public to support young people.

There were many items on display such as handmade arts and crafts as well as beautiful jewelry.

Massage Therapist Ms. Martha Cuffy, had local products which she uses on her clients on display as well.  Ms. Cuffy added that coconut products are very useful for the body in terms of nurturing.

Overall, the exposition was an occasion for Dominicans to display their talents and it was a total success.
