Eight inaugurated at the 17th Inaugural Meeting of the Castle Bruce Village Council

Farmers in the Castle Bruce community are being advised to continue planting their crops as the Castle Bruce Village Council continue efforts to improve their local market for sale of agricultural produce.

The advice came from the newly elected chair person of the Castle Bruce Village Council, Mrs Angelica Gasper, during her address at the council’s seventeenth inaugural meeting on Monday.

Mrs Gasper said that the council is currently in discussions to construct a Market Complex which will include stalls for vendors in the community who wish to sell their produce.

Mrs Gasper also commended the government of Dominica for erecting the New Health Facility in Castle Bruce, a project she believes has had a positive impact on the lives of residents in the area.

A challenge was sent out to the relevant authorities to facilitate closer proximity for health officials who are assigned to the Facility, to compliment a quicker response from the health team.
