During times of need we all have to lend a helping hand, and it is no different for Gospel singer, Dominican Nayan Warrington, who is very ill in Barbados.

Warrington needs to travel to the United States for a kidney transplant, as his partially functioning kidneys are failing.

Coordinator of Youth on a Mission for God, Ellen Paul has organized a gospel concert where the proceeds will go towards the very expensive procedure.

“We are planning to hold a fund raising concert for Nayan Warrington who is the son of a former pastor – Martin Warrington. Nayan is diagnosed with Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (FSGS), which is a rare kidney condition that attacks the kidneys,” Paul highlighted.

According to Paul, the doctor report indicates that Nayan kidney is 10% functional and advised his family that he needs a kidney transplant, which must be carried out in the United States at a cost US $300,000.00.

The concert will take place on Friday June 27th 2014 at the Harlem Plaza at 7:00 pm.

Local artistes including; Yohan Henry, Priceless, Solace, Jerry Lloyd, Ebenezer Praise, Vessels of Honour, African Gospel Family and Hilltop Singers.

Tickets cost only $10.00 for standing and seating is $15.00.

Paul is asking all Dominicans to turn out in large numbers, for a night of praise and worship so Nayan’s condition can be restored from 10% to 100%.

Paul noted, even after being diagnosed with the rare condition, Nayan is in very high spirits and is optimistic that he will be victorious in this battle, with God restoring his health.

Warrington first saw worrying signs of his condition in 2011 but it has worsened with time.

Gospel artistes in Barbados are also hosting various concerts to help Nayan.
