Germany to Provide Assistance to the Government of Dominica in Several Sectors
The Government of the Federal Republic of Germany will be providing assistance to the Government of the Commonwealth of Dominica in the areas of tourism, environmental protection and in the development of wind and solar energy.
His Excellency Stefan Schueleter, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Commonwealth of Dominica made this disclosure while presenting his credentials to the President of Dominica, His Excellency Dr. Nicholas J.O Liverpool, on Wednesday, on April 13th, 2011.
The new ambassador who is stationed in Port of Spain, Trinidad said that he looks forward to further strengthen the ties between the two countries.
This was actually his first official visit to the Commonwealth of Dominica.
Meantime, while welcoming the Ambassador to the island of Dominica, President Liverpool said that he is confident that during the Ambassador’s term of office, he will do his utmost to continue those friendly relations which were established in 1980 and strengthen the existing bonds of co-operation which exists between the two countries.
He to believes that there are many benefits to be derived as a result of the friendly relations between Germany and Dominica.
