Roderick Gilbert, Pastor of the Gospel Light Temple in Loubiere is calling for support of a gospel concert, dubbed ‘Blessing after Blessing’ organized to raise funds for the completion of a resource centre in Loubiere.

The centre is expected to be equipped with computers and a library to assist young persons in particular with education and leisure activities.

Construction has already begun and the centre is estimated at a cost of $100,000.

Performers will include Sanctified, God Sent, and Positive out of Trinidad and Tobago backed by DJ ALfey.

Local Gospel Entertainer, Sernel will also be participating at the concert.  He too encourages persons to come to the concert.

According to the artiste, young people these days do not have anywhere or anyone to turn to and tend to lean towards suicide or other attempts to negatively express themselves.

The show will take place at the Harlem Plaza on April 4th from 7.30 p.m. Tickets cost $30 in advance and $35 at the gate and can be purchased at Jays Book Store, CLC Book Store and LIME in Portsmouth.
