Gospel Singer Nicole Christian Media Launch for Concert
The Krazy Koconuts will be buzzing with action on Friday July 20th, as this will be the venue of the album launch concert for gospel singer Nicole Christian.
The daughter of Adolphus and Sonia Christian and the last of six children, Nicole always had a passion for singing, as she began singing at the tender age of four in preschool choirs and later joined the senior choir of the St. Martin’s Primary School.
Music was indeed a part of Nicole’s life as her mother Mrs. Christian was a choir instructor at the St. Martin’s Primary School, her brother Gregory Christian, entertained guests at family gatherings with his keyboard , while her father played and sang along with his guitar.
At a media launching for the concert held on Wednesday July 18th, Ms. Christian said that singing Gospel music is one of her ways in giving back to the Lord as she accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior.
Ms. Christian added that her parents have been vital to her musical journey, as they were always behind her 100 percent pushing her to do her best at it.
The Gospel singer also use the opportunity at the media launch to perform, where she left the crowd amazed at how well she sings.
She also thanked Pastor Leroy Hill for being in her life, to always keep encouraging her and other young persons in the church to go out there and do positive things, so that their positive message is heard all over.
The Gospel singer added that she is proud to have the singing talent to produce her first album.
Pastor Leroy Hill says Nicole has special qualities which she is using to her advantage, and he will always keep working with her so she continues to blossom.
He said that he got the opportunity to listen to the album, to which he was very pleased listening to not just twelve songs, but twelve very powerful songs which he loves.
He went on to say that if we truly want to support Nicole, we will all purchase the album which she worked very hard on, and urged people not to pirate this album which deprives her of her success from her hard work, which would be unfair.
Events Director of the Dominica Festivals Commission (DFC) Mrs. Natalie Clark Meade applauded Ms. Christian for her hard work in creating the album and choosing the right path.
Mrs. Meade added it is not easy to be a creative person in the Caribbean, as it is not an easy path.
Mrs. Meade went on to say that she is looking forward to the day that, young talent artistes like Nicole Christian be fully recognized and appreciated for the talent that they possess.
Nicole’s Manager and Producer Mr. Gregory Christian says, a lot of hard work went into this album entitled “Speak To Me”, and the public should show their full support to Ms. Christian buy purchasing the album.
He added that the album cover was designed by Dominican, Mr. Lowell Royer who is currently pursuing studies in Jamaica.
The album Launch concert will start from 7:00pm, at the Krazy Koconuts on Friday July 20th, where Ms. Christian new album will be on sale.
