Numerous Schools Benefit From School Supplies Donation

30 schools around Dominica will now have more supplies towards libraries.

This comes after a donation of school supplies, mainly reading materials facilitate their libraries was made by the Lions Club of Dominica.

Past President and Zone 2C Chair of the Lions Club, Ms. Louisiana Dubique says the supplies were contributed by Hands Across the Sea, an international non- profit organization that provides materials to schools around the world.

A few members of the Lions Club are working with the Roseau Primary and the Goodwill Primary to help students to have the basic reading skills required at primary school level.

The Lions Club of Dominica is a non- profit service organization where people who have time, energy and some financial resources come together to assist in the community.

Their primary aim is to help the less fortunate.

The Lions Club is very grateful for this donation from Hands Across the Sea.
