Jazz’n’Creole festival press conference
Mr. Colin Piper CEO of the Discover Dominica Authority noted that this event will benefit both Dominicans with cultural exposure as well as increase the number of tourist arrivals during the off season.
Festivities this year will not only feature the festival on Pentecost Sunday but will begin with activities on Thursday 24th with a Jazz flavored Word, Sound and Power show at the Anchorage Hotel.
Miss Amour, representative of the Anchorage Hotel is pleased to say that the Anchorage Hotel has featured local Jazz artists for the past few decades and will continue to do so.
Following this will be a Jazz’n’Creole Happy Hour at the Fort Young Hotel on Friday 25th May.
Jazz lovers can go to the Riverstone Bar and Grill in Belles to continue in the Jazz spirit for the Afternoon Riverside Jazz’n’Creole that boasts a packed line up of local Jazz artists.
The festival will take place at the Cabrits National Park, Portsmouth, featuring Cameron Pierre of England, Sandy Gabriel of Dominica Republic, Bwakoré of Martinique, Fitzroy Williams and Breve of Dominica.
