Kelvin Thomas of Wesley pled not guilty to the charge of theft when he faced Roseau Magistrate Candia George on Thursday July 12th.

It is alleged that Mr. Thomas stole a Dell Inspiron laptop at Miah’s Bar in Bath Estate, property of Mosiah Challenger.

The Police Prosecutor objected to bail, stating the defendant escapes from prison, in which Mr. Thomas then shouted out, “and all you still sending me there?”.

The Prosecutor all said that Mr. Thomas has a number of similar previous offences, so bail should not be granted.
Magistrate George acknowledged the facts and denied bail to the defendant.
