Kes the band and Bounty killer to headline lime’s 9th annual citp
Popular soca band, kes the band and international reggae sensation bounty killer are just two of the major acts expected to grace the stage for lime’s 9th annual creole in the part event this year.
Lime dominica will host the creole in the park event at the botanical gardens from 12 noon to 7:00pm from october 24th to 27th, 2011.
Honorable kelver darroux who represented the minister of tourism at wednesday’s event encouraged patrons to conduct themselves in an orderly manner, leaving out violence from the festivities.
Creole in the park will also feature local cuisine, the sale of arts and craft items, promotions from the sponsors and entertainment for children.
Lime’s general manager, jeffery baptiste said that patrons can expect an extraordinary performance from artistes and groups on the lineup this year.
The event will begin on monday with performances by ncore band followed by cadence from guadeloupe, colton t and midnight groovers.
Day two will feature signal band, gregory rabess, shades of green, ophelia and swinging stars featuring various calypsonians.
Day three will be caribbean vibes, dr silk, amos & ras judah, triple kay global, the 2011 q talent search winner, fanatik band, ras mo and kes the band.
And the final day will be freddie and friends, blacklyte, nelly stharre, asher thomas, wck band, dj big ben and bounty killer.
This year patrons are asked to pay $3 for the first two days and $5 for the last two days.
