Kingshill Man Found Dead

body_found1Police has launched an investigation into the death of one man following the discovery of his dead body.

This investigation was launched when the decomposing body of forty-five year old Patterson Scotland was found in his house on Monday December 31st, 2012.

Police Public Relations Officer, Inspector John Carbon stated that Mr. Scotland’s neighbors filed a police report after he had not been seen for three days.

They also indicated to the Police of a stench coming from the house.

The police officers subsequently carried out their investigations.

Upon arrival at Mr. Scotland’s house, officer forced entry into the home and found him on his bed in a sleeping position.

The body was then transported to the Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH), where he was pronounced dead on arrival by a medical practitioner.

Mr. Scotland’s sister reported to police officers that an illness could be the cause of his death, as he visited a doctor last week after complaining of breathlessness.

A coroner’s inquest has been ordered to determine the cause of death, which will be followed by a post mortem report.

No foul play has been suspected, but investigations continue into the death.
