Madamoiselle Carded for Sunday
Would you like to participate in a show where you learn about other countries and its heritage?
On Sunday March 31st, a Show dubbed “the Mademoiselle Francophonie Pageant”, which includes 9 lovely primary students, will grace the stage of the Arawak House of Culture and enlighten you on the countries that they represent.
The show is carded for 3:00pm and is supported by the Government of Dominica, the Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development.
President of the Primary French Committee, Ms. Solange Payne, has been working with the girls since February, and have been practicing at the Arawak House of Culture for the past two weeks.
Ms. Payne, believes that this is a great opportunity for the students to learn about other countries and their culture.
The show consists of four rounds.
The children have all been taught how to introduce themselves in French, as well as to state the country that they represent.
The contestants are Sherenn Le Blanch, Jamoia Bruno, Neisha Durand, Nia Blaize, Marquelle Phillip, Precious Rivere, Neera Jno Baptiste, Marckeba Francis and Hanna Raffoul.
