Ministry of Agriculture concerned about stray cattle in the north
A call has been issued for cattle owners and herdsmen living in the north to pay more attention to their livestock.
The Ministry of Agriculture is reporting that several herds of cattle are being left astray, roaming the public roads leading to unnecessary accident with both vehicles and pedestrians.
Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Honorable Matthew Walter is calling on the cattle owners to pay more attention to the safety of citizens, especially those located in the areas of T-Bay, Picard and One Mile, Portsmouth.
The Ministry of Agriculture is cautioning cattle owners to avoid using the public road as ‘a grazing ground’.
Mr Matthew was just one of the many persons who recently had an accident in the north which was caused by stray cattle.
