Missionary Trip to Dominica Considered a Success
One young man from the missionary youth group of the First Baptist Church in Alexandria, Virginia said that visiting the nature island has given a new appreciation for the world that god has created.
The youth group, which arrived on island last week Thursday, made Dominica their missionary destination this year.
According to a member of the youth group, while here, the team hosted a Vacation Bible School for the students of the Goodwill Primary School, did ministry at several churches, built a house for an individual in Tarish Pit and did some construction in Loubiere among other things
Several members said that they considered their trip a great success.
Of course, the group also visited several sites in Dominica including the Emerald Pool and the Screws Spa.
One participant of the programme, Rhea Riviere, aged eleven, said that she is very happy that the team took their time to teach her, and her schoolmates, about God.
The youth group will return to their homeland today, July 9th.
