National Day of Prayer
Sunday 23rd, September 2012 was recognized as National Day of Prayer.
St. Ann’s and St. Paul’s Parish Priest Father Franklyn Cuffy says this is a celebration of our 34th year of Independence and it brings him great honor to deliver the prayer at the Massacre Catholic Church.
Father Cuffy went on to say that the National day of prayer is a form of gratitude and appreciation for us as a people and this is the moment that we should all come together.
He believes development is more than roads and buildings and says this day is mostly focused on the building of the people.
Father Cuffy mentioned that he would like to see more voluntarism and involvement of our young people.
