NCCU Cadence Lypso Competitors Pick Their Numbers for the Show

1st performer at Cadence Lypso Show

20 finalists have dipped their numbers for the order in which they will perform at the NCCU Cadence Lypso Show.

Dominicans are encouraged to come and support the 20 finalists on Saturday October 20th, at the Newtown Savannah from 8:30pm.

Some of the headline sponsors of the event are Digicel, DBS Radio and SAT Telecommunications.

Mrs. Nathalie Walsh, Sales and Marketing Manager at Digicel commended the National Cooperative Credit Union for putting together such a great product.

Ms. Sephra Dover, Accounts Clerk at New India Assurance Company Ltd and AC Shillingford, wanted the competitors to do their best and remember that they are all winners.

Mr. Brian Meade, Manager of DBS Radio, says Dominicans should make every effort to preserve and promote this genre of music.

As we are in the creole season, Mr. Meade asks the organizers of the World Creole Music Festival and Creole in the Park, to headline more creole and cadence lypso artists than reggae artists.
