New Government Still Not Formed in Curacao
One of the political parties in Curacao, MAN, insists that, in the light of the current situation, it wants Pueblo Soberano (PS), Movementu Futuro Korsou (MFK), which is the party headed by former Prime Minister Gerrit Schotte, and MAN, to form a coalition Government.
However, the relationship between the former coalition partners, PS, MFK and MAN, has completely broken down. On the other hand, the political parties PNP and PAIS are still standing at 10 seats together with PS. This is because PS does not want to work with another party, PAR, because of major ideological differences between the two.
This situation is becoming more and more difficult and it seems that the interim Government will continue taking care of business for a while. The only problem is that this Government is provisional, which means they cannot start any new project. All they can do is handle current cases.
