No major injuries in Kingshill bus crash

A Kingshill bus driver, Mr William Prevost said that he is fortunate to not have received any injuries following an accident in lower Morne Bruce on Saturday morning.

According to Prevost, he was driving to church on his bus registration number HA573 with three other occupants when his steering wheel malfunctioned around a big corner in Kinsghill, causing the bus to plunge down a cliff.

The bus ended up in the vicinity of Center Street; one lane lower down the Morne Bruce road.

Eyewitnesses said that there was a little fence kept the vehicle from dropping unto the other street.

Luckily only one of the occupants; an elderly woman, sustained minor injuries while the other two occupants, a police officer and her daughter as well as the driver escaped with no injuries.
