Official Launch of 15th Annual World Creole Music Festival


Reggae sensation, Gyptian and Ali Campbell of UB40 are just some of the headliners in this year’s World Creole Music Festival.


With the theme “Make a Memory, Come Dance with us”, the stage was set for the launch of the event at Krazy Koconuts on Thursday night.


Along with dignitaries, key speakers at the event were Mr. Raymond Lawrence, Chief Cultural Officer and Honourable Ian Douglas, Minister of Tourism and Legal Affairs.


Honourable Ian Douglas reminded us of what the festival has brought to Dominica since its inception in 1997.


The festival will be held at the Windsor Park Sports Stadium from the 28th to the 30th of October 2011.
