One man sentenced to 3 months imprisonment for stealing a flashlight and charger.

 

 

A Thibaud resident was sentenced to three months in prison after stealing a red and black flashlight and charger valued at fifty-seven dollars and ninety-nine cents ($57.99) at shine union in Roseau on Tuesday August 31st 2010. Earlsworth Henderson, who denied having the stolen property inside the store, was reported to the police, who was in the store at the moment. He told the court that his family is not privileged enough to have electricity at their home and that he was simply securing himself for the hurricane season.
