Pakistan Cricket Board Finalizes Test Tour to the West Indies for 2013

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has finalized a Test tour to the West Indies next year in July-August, which will ensure that the national team and its players remain busy throughout the year.

A reliable source in the PCB reported that, the Pakistan Team has three major series lined up for 2013, an away and home series against South Africa, and a tour to the West Indies and is also hoping to organize a home Test series against India.

The team will go to the Caribbean after taking part in the Champions Trophy in England, which will be held in June.

Before the tournament the team will also be playing a series against Ireland.

The series against the West Indies will include three Tests, ODIs and T20 matches.

After the Caribbean tour the board has a window open in August-September, and will try to convince the Indian board to play a series in this period which will be treated as a home series for Pakistan.

In the year starting October, South Africa is also due to tour Pakistan which depends on the security situation in the country.
