Peter Richards Calls on Media Workers to be Balanced
President of the Association of Caribbean Media Workers (ACM), Mr. Peter Richards has called on reporters and other media personnel to do their job efficiently.
According to Mr. Richards, the media has to meet the needs and expectations of the people who they serve. However, the concern has been surfaced that the news agenda does not meet those standards.
Mr. Richards called out to media workers to be balanced and show qualities that make good reporters. He said that media personnel should serve the people, be unbiased and work to be good informers.
Mr. Richards noted that media is not a substitute for public relations and is not the avenue for fame.
