Placement Of Incubator At First Caribbean International Bank (FCIB)

The children’s heart foundation will be receiving a boost from an initiative being taken up by the First Caribbean International Bank (FCIB).

The bank has placed an incubator at its office in Roseau in the effort of raising funds for the children’s heart foundation, where persons can simply place cash into the incubator.

President of the Children’s Heart Fund Dr. Rhonda Mc Intyre Francis says, this organization came about as the result for the need to assist families, who need to travel abroad for medical care.

Dr. Francis says she thought it would have been a novel idea, to have the incubator which is a cash box placed at different locations in Dominica to help raise funds for the organization.

Dr. Francis gave special thanks to the FCIB, to willingly having the incubator placed at their office.

She went on to urge the public to have an open heart, to donate generously when they see the incubator, as all of the cash collected will be going towards assisting families with children in need of medical attention who have to be flown overseas.

FICB’s Business Support Officer Ms. Rhona Lawrence says, they were delighted to help the foundation when they received the call, to have the incubator placed at the bank.

The Children’s Heart Foundation was established in 1992 while Doctor. Francis was a Junior Doctor at the Princess Margaret Hospital.
