Play Ground Being Built for Pentecostal Church

P1010336The People’s Pentecostal Church, together with the Master College High School in Canada, has embarked on a project to build a playground on the savannah close to the church.

This is good news for children and parents in the Goodwill area and environs.

Fifteen students from the Canadian High school along with five parents are on island to build the playground.

Leader of the group, Bev Ness, a teacher, said the students paid Canadian $3,000 dollars each to be in Dominica for two weeks to work on the project.P1010339

Pastor of the Church, Bill Daniel, expressed his gratitude to the school for the kind donation and looks forward to building on the relationship with the school.

The Master College High School has built playgrounds in Tobago, Cuba and Stock Farm in Dominica.

The Canadian contingent will leave the island on April 16th.
