PM’s Press Attaché Calls Roseau MP A Nuisance
Press Attache in the Office of the Prime Minister, Mr. Daryl Titre has described the Parliamentary Representative for the Roseau Central Constituency, Honourable Norris Prevost a nuisance.
He made the statement, after confronting Mr. Prevost during a geothermal workshop on the morning of Thursday March 27th 2014, where it is alleged a brief verbal argument ensued.
He stated, the Opposition United Workers Party is not part of the Government, and as such they were not invited to the workshop, particularly as they have been speaking negatively about the geothermal project.
Mr. Titre downplayed allegations that this was an attempt to silence the Opposition for speaking against geothermal energy.
However, Mr. Prevost says, the manner in which Mr. Titre spoke to him, was an abuse of his position and an attempt to bring down the name of the public service for his own gain and to gain favour with Government ministers.
