Police Investigating Homicide in Eggleston
The community of Eggleston is in the state of shock and mourning following the brutal death of one of their residents, as police investigations continue.
Acting Police Public Relations Officer Inspector Richmond Valentine says the police are conducting investigations into a homicide which took place on Saturday November 3rd.
At 2:30 a.m the police responded to a report at the home of 75 year old Marvlyn Robinson.
On arrival to the scene she was found alive having sustained multiple stab wounds to various parts of her body.
Ms. Robinson was transported to the Princess Margaret Hospital by the Accident and Emergency Personnel, and shortly after was pronounced dead by Doctor Karl Monroe.
A post mortem is expected to be carried out on the body.
One man is currently assisting police in their investigations.
