Prime Minister Refutes Suggestions over Lack of Consultation on Pre- Budget Presentation
The General Secretary of the Public Service Union, Mr. Thomas Letang voiced concerns over the lack of pre- budget consultations.
However Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit said that discussions are currently continuing with stake holders.
Mr. Skerrit further went on to say that consultation is not over until Parliament has approved the budget statements.
According to Honorable Roosevelt Skerrit one does not necessarily have to wait to make suggestions for the budget.
He has confirmed however, that the consultation will continue this week and he looks forward to constructive suggestions and meaningful consultations.
The actual day for the presentation will be announced at a later date.
