Prime Minister Skerrit Attends CARICOM’s 25TH Intercessional Meeting
Honourable Roosevelt Skerrit, Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Foreign Affairs and ICT, left the state on Saturday March 8, 2014 to attend the 25th Intercessional Meeting of the Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community, CARICOM.
According to the Prime Minister’s Press Attache’, Mr. Daryl Titre, “That meeting is taking place in St. Vincent & the Grenadines, under the chairmanship of the prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Honourable Ralf Gonzales.
The CARICOM Heads are expected to discuss the human resource development, sustainable development in the region, the state of the regional economy and Information and Communication Technology.
The Prime Minister is said to be very busy with his travels, as on Sunday March 9th 2014, he addressed the 63rd Annual Delegates’ Conference of the St. Lucia Labour Party as the Guest Speaker.
The delegates’ conference was held at Reunion, Chosiel, in the southern part of St. Lucia.
Acting Prime Minister will be Honourable Rayburn Blackmoore.
