Public Advised To Follow Traffic Rules during Creole in the Park

vlcsnap-2013-10-17-16h49m41s87With the volume of traffic expected to significantly increase, during the four days of Creole in the Park, beginning on Monday October 21st, the Police Traffic Department have made a number of traffic diversions, to accommodate the smooth flow of traffic.

Assistant Superintendent of Police, Patrickson Albert, says these traffic diversions are also put in place to ensure pedestrians can move safely during the event.

The Morne Prosper/Laudat bustop will be temporarily moved to the Bathroad area between the Convent Prepatory School and Hara Agency.

No entry is allowed into Virgin Lane going east from 6 p.m. and there will be limited access to the Botanical Gardens, to allow the free movement of workers and aid parents, who pick up their children from school.

Parents are reliably informed that the Gardens gate will only be opened from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. daily.

No parking is allowed on Valley Road.

The public is hereby advised to ensure they are aware of these traffic adjustments to ensure the smooth operations of the job of the police, during Creole in the Park.
