Puerto Rican boxers visits the island



Antonio and Adam Sanchez, two famous Puerto Rican boxers have described their experience in Dominica as unforgettable, after they visited the island last week on one of their scheduled cruise lines. While speaking to SAT TV News, the boxers, who happened to be brothers, said that they have been interested in boxing from since an early age and will be for a very long time.


“My brother and I have been training to be boxers from a very young age and our wish has finally been granted,” he said.  


Meanwhile, Mr Jobb Joseph, Coach of the Dominica Amateur Boxing Association said that the Dominican team is currently training to participate in a creole tournament in Guadeloupe.


Joseph said, “the boxers will be competing at the creole tournament in Guadeloupe on December 1st 2010 and like I always say, the boxers of Dominica are always ready for their competitions.”


Antonio Sanchez has been boxing for two years and has won four fights while his brother, Adam Sanchez won one fight and a knock-out.
